This position reports to the Burbank office (not remote or hybrid).

We are seeking a skilled and motivated HR Generalist with a strong background in employee relations and payroll administration. This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives on problem-solving, supporting employees, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and payroll accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution.
  • Administer payroll processing, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Support benefits administration, including open enrollment and employee inquiries.
  • Assist with performance management processes and disciplinary actions.
  • Maintain HRIS records and ensure data accuracy.
  • Partner with leadership to drive employee engagement and retention.
  • Support compliance with HR policies, labor laws, and company guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of HR experience, with a focus on employee relations and payroll.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, etc.).
  • Experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Workday, etc.).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
