Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in human capital management and be well-versed in employment and labor laws. This role is crucial in supporting our HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with regulations such as FMLA and OSHA. The Human Resources Generalist will play a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture while ensuring that our HR practices align with strategic organizational goals.
Duties
- Collaborate with the leadership team to understand the organizations goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
- Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Monitors and ensures the organizations compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reports are in compliance.
- Responsible for payroll functions including processing payroll for the division, set up new employees in payroll system, setup benefits in a timely fashion, as well as terminate employees in the payroll system.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- At least one year of human resource management experience preferred.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
