HR Generalist

Position: HR Generalist

Location: Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi

Job Description:
The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing a wide range of HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and payroll administration. This role ensures smooth HR operations while maintaining a positive employee experience and supporting organizational goals. The HR Generalist will act as a key point of contact for employees and management, providing guidance on policies, payroll, and HR best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting to onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job profiles.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates through multiple channels.
  • Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline for current and future needs.
  • Manage employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, labor laws, and hiring standards.
  • Provide data-driven hiring reports and analytics to management.
  • Mentor and guide junior recruitment team members.
  • Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accurate salary calculations, deductions, and statutory compliance.
  • Manage day-to-day HR operations, including employee records, payroll processing, and benefits administration.
  • Support recruitment efforts, from job postings to onboarding new hires.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of HR experience in a generalist role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR policies, and compliance practices.
  • Proficiency in HRMS/ATS systems and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience in payroll processing and employee relations is a plus.
