Human Resources Generalist

Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Reports To: HR Director

What You’ll Do:

As our HR Generalist, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the full employee lifecycle—from onboarding and engagement to compliance and performance. In this dynamic position, you will:

  • Administer and enhance HR policies, procedures, and employee programs.
  • Support payroll processing and ensure accuracy of timekeeping and paid time off tracking.
  • Manage benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee communication.
  • Partner with hiring managers on recruiting, onboarding, and background checks.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and conflict resolution.
  • Assist with performance management processes and development plans.
  • Maintain HRIS data accuracy and generate insightful reports.
  • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and team-building events.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of HR experience with broad generalist exposure.
  • Strong working knowledge of HR laws, practices, and systems.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
  • A positive, solutions-focused attitude and a genuine desire to make a difference.
