AnnieMac Home Mortgage is looking to hire a Full Time HR Generalist to be assist in the administration of Company Human Resource benefit plans, policies and procedures; including providing advice, assistance and follow-up. This position coordinates resolution of specific benefit related inquiries as well as managing and administering the company benefit plans. In addition, this position will coordinate onboarding, payroll summaries, employee inquiries and other HR projects.
Accountabilities and Job Activities: Under the direct supervision of the Employee Experience Manager and Human Resources Manager, the HR Generalist is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
  • Communicate company benefits and benefit related policies & procedures to new and existing employees.
  • Process benefit plan enrollments and changes.
  • Assist with the coordination of annual benefit open enrollment.
  • Support with 401k enrollment and changes.
  • Research and resolve issues by working with benefit broker, employees and other third-party vendors.
  • Support the high volume in onboarding of new hires.
  • Manage the Jira tickets and ASK tickets.
  • Interpret and administer FMLA, ADA, AA and other leave programs.
  • Complete and disseminate payroll summaries to managers.
  • Review and approve timesheets, ensuring compliance.
  • Stay abreast of all federal and state laws as it pertains to benefits.
  • Ensure that internal processes, as it relates to payroll deductions for our benefit plans, are followed and administered correctly.
  • Coordinate the invitations for new hire orientation and assign new hire trainings.
  • Initiate Remote Policy Training and monitor for completion.
  • Provide reports as needed.
  • Complete business applications for facilities.
  • Complete Unemployment claims and Verification of Employment.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all payroll and/or personnel information at all times.
  • Complete all Company mandatory trainings within the required timelines.

  • H.S. diploma or equivalent plus (3)+ years experience in Human Resources; College degree is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer usage to include Microsoft Office.
  • Position involves highly confidential materials; breech of confidence may result in immediate termination.
Work Environment/Physical Demands: Will have to spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers, which can cause muscle and eye strain.
