HR Generalist

Opening: HR Generalist

Job Descriptions:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist with at least 1 year of experience to manage end-to-end HR operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment, employee lifecycle management, HR compliance, and supporting a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle (job posting, screening, interviews, selection)
  • Coordinate with department heads to understand hiring needs
  • Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, and recruitment agencies
  • Maintain candidate pipeline and hiring tracker

2. Onboarding & Employee Management

  • Handle onboarding process including documentation and orientation
  • Maintain employee records and HR databases
  • Ensure smooth employee lifecycle management (joining to exit)

3. Attendance & Leave Management

  • Monitor attendance, leaves, and punctuality
  • Maintain accurate records and generate monthly reports

4. HR Policies & Compliance

  • Implement HR policies in line with labor laws
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain HR documentation and employee files

5. Employee Engagement & Relations

  • Address employee concerns and grievances
  • Support a positive work environment
  • Organize engagement activities and initiatives

6. Performance Management

  • Assist in performance appraisal processes
  • Track employee performance and development plans

7. Training & Development

  • Identify training needs and coordinate sessions
  • Support employee skill development programs

8. HR Reporting & Administration

  • Prepare HR reports (headcount, attrition, attendance, etc.)
  • Support payroll inputs and coordination with finance
  • Maintain confidentiality of HR data

Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
Experience: Minimum 1 year of HR experience
Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
  • Experience with HRMS / attendance systems
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in IT or Telecom sector
  • Exposure to recruitment for technical roles
  • Familiarity with HR software/tools
  • Other Details:

Work Days: Monday - Friday
Work Timings: 9 am - 6 pm OR 10 am - 7 pm
Location: Karachi
Work Mode: Onsite
