HR Generalist/Payroll Specialist

Overview
Join our dynamic Choice Providers team as an HR Generalist and Payroll Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills (oral and written) as well as interpersonal skills. Choice Providers is a Home and Community Based Service agency serving individuals in the Region 6 area. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to organizational success by fostering positive employee relations, streamlining HR processes, and maintaining compliance with employment laws. Your energetic approach and meticulous attention to detail will drive impactful HR initiatives that support our company’s growth and culture.

Duties

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing using systems such as ADP, When I Work, and EVV ensuring accuracy and timeliness in salary disbursements.
  • Administer human capital management functions including benefits administration, employee orientation, performance management, and employee evaluation programs.
  • Oversee compliance with employment and labor laws such as FMLA, OSHA regulations, and workers' compensation policies.
  • Handle employee relations issues with professionalism and tact while managing conflict resolution and providing guidance and assistance to the Administrator on HR policies.
  • Maintain detailed personnel records and complete employee onboarding in an efficient manner.

Experience

  • Proven experience in human resources management with a strong background in payroll processing using platforms like Paychex, ADP, Iris, Workday, or Ceridian.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employment & labor law compliance including FMLA regulations and OSHA standards.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Administrative experience supporting HR functions such as data collection, reporting, conflict management, and social media management related to employer branding.
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Power Point, etc.).

Pay: From $39,520.00 per year
