Job Summary:

The HR Manager will be responsible for driving employee performance, ensuring statutory compliance, and enhancing overall team effectiveness across the organization. This role requires a proactive leader with strong interpersonal and coaching skills to build a motivated, high-performing workforce aligned with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Performance Coaching & Employee Development

  • Conduct regular performance reviews, identify skill gaps, and implement coaching plans.
  • Design and execute employee development and training programs to enhance productivity.
  • Work closely with department heads to drive a culture of continuous performance improvement.

2. Team Monitoring & Employee Engagement

  • Monitor attendance, discipline, and staff morale to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  • Implement engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and motivation strategies.
  • Handle employee grievances with fairness and ensure transparent communication across teams.

3. Statutory Compliance & HR Operations

  • Ensure compliance with all labour laws and statutory requirements such as PF, ESI, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, and other applicable acts.
  • Oversee HR documentation, employee records, payroll coordination, and statutory audit readiness.
  • Liaise with statutory authorities and ensure timely filings and renewals.

4. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process for key positions, ensuring cultural and performance fit.
  • Conduct structured onboarding and induction programs for new employees.

5. HR Strategy & Reporting

  • Develop and implement HR policies in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Prepare HR performance dashboards and submit regular reports to management.
  • Contribute to strategic planning on manpower optimization and retention initiatives.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR laws and statutory compliance.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution expertise.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Qualification & Experience:

  • MBA in Human Resources from a recognized university (mandatory).
  • Minimum 5–8 years of HR experience, preferably in a distribution or FMCG environment.
  • Proven track record in employee performance management and compliance handling.
