The HR Manager – Compliance is responsible for ensuring that the organization’s HR practices comply with statutory, legal, and regulatory requirements. This role focuses heavily on employee relations, policy implementation, audits, and maintaining a compliant and ethical work environment.

Experience Needed 7+ YEARS

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws, employment regulations, and internal HR policies.
  • Manage statutory compliance including PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, Shops & Establishment Act, Maternity Benefits Act, etc.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation for audits and inspections.
  • Conduct periodic internal HR compliance audits and ensure corrective actions.
  • Keep leadership updated on regulatory changes and their implications.
  • Handle employee relations issues while ensuring fairness and policy adherence.
  • Draft, review, and update HR policies, employee handbooks, and SOPs.
  • Manage disciplinary actions and grievance redressal processes legally and ethically.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and government authorities.
  • Develop compliance awareness programs and training for employees.
  • Assist with onboarding, exits, and background verification processes in line with compliance requirements.
  • Ensure timely submission of statutory reports and returns.
