Job description
To lead and manage the complete HR function for MK Builders & Developers, ensuring smooth employee lifecycle management from recruitment to exit across the organization. The role requires strategic and hands-on HR leadership to support 300+ employees working at the Vizag head office and various construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for all departments (Corporate & Project Sites).
- Coordinate manpower planning with department heads.
- Conduct interviews, reference checks, and onboarding formalities.
- Design and implement induction programs for new joiners.
2. Employee Lifecycle Management
- Maintain and update employee master data and HRMS records.
- Handle probation confirmation, transfers, promotions, and separations.
- Manage attendance, leave records, and documentation.
3. Performance & Development
- Support in designing and executing performance appraisal systems (KRA-based).
- Identify skill gaps and organize internal/external training sessions.
- Develop career progression plans and employee engagement initiatives.
4. Payroll & Compliance
- Coordinate with Accounts for timely salary processing.
- Ensure statutory compliance PF, ESI, Gratuity, Professional Tax, Labour Laws, etc.
- Handle audits, statutory filings, and maintain updated records.
5. Employee Engagement & Relations
- Promote healthy workplace culture and employee welfare programs.
- Conduct employee feedback sessions, grievance handling, and disciplinary actions.
- Organize team-building activities and events for site and office staff.
6. Policy & Process Implementation
- Frame, update, and communicate HR policies, SOPs, and guidelines.
- Monitor adherence across all departments.
- Ensure alignment of HR practices with company values and legal norms.
Qualification & Experience:
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources (preferred)
- 8–12 years of HR experience in construction, real estate, or manufacturing sector
- Experience handling 300+ employees (multi-location workforce)
- Strong knowledge of Labour Laws, PF, ESI, and payroll compliance
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
