Job Title: Human Resources (HR) Manager

Location: Chennai

Company Name: Bio-WMS Private Limited

Reporting to COO.

1. Strategic HR Management

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s goals.
  • Lead workforce planning and talent acquisition initiatives.
  • Design and execute employee engagement and retention programs.

2. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes.
  • Oversee onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
  • Collaborate with department heads to forecast hiring needs.

3. Employee Relations & Welfare

  • Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and grievances.
  • Promote a positive work environment and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Implement employee welfare programs and initiatives.

4. Performance Management

  • Develop and manage performance appraisal systems.
  • Support managers in setting KPIs and conducting evaluations.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate learning & development programs.

5. Compliance & Policy Management

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws & Industry regulations. (Factories Act, ESI, PF, Minimum Wages, etc.).
  • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures.
  • Handle disciplinary actions and legal matters related to employment.
  • Liaise with government authorities and maintain statutory records.

6. Payroll & Benefits Administration

  • Supervise attendance systems and leave management.
  • Coordinate with finance for accurate payroll processing.
  • Manage employee benefits, insurance, and statutory contributions (PF, ESI, etc.).

7. Training & Development

  • Identify skill gaps and organize technical and soft skills training.
  • Conduct safety, hygiene, and compliance training for employees
  • Promote continuous improvement and upskilling initiatives.

8. HR Systems & Reporting

  • Maintain all employee data in HRMS portal.
  • Prepare HR reports for management review and audits.
  • Ensure data confidentiality and integrity.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent.
  • 5–10 years of HR experience, preferably in mid-sized companies.
  • Language Must- Tamil, English & Hindi
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with ISO, EHS, and other factory certifications is preferred.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong ethical standards and confidentiality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
