Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices and employee management, ensuring the organization is effectively utilizing its personnel to achieve its goals. The HR Manager will be responsible for managing HR policies, programs, and initiatives to support a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle including job postings, interviews, and candidate selection.
- Oversee the onboarding process to ensure new hires are integrated successfully into the company.
- Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement.
- Performance Management:
- Implement and manage performance appraisal systems to drive employee performance.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on performance improvement plans and employee development.
- Conduct regular training sessions on performance management best practices.
- Compliance and Policies:
- Ensure company compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Develop and update HR policies and procedures to reflect current legislation and company practices.
- Conduct regular audits of HR practices to identify areas for improvement.
- Compensation and Benefits:
- Administer compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and equity.
- Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis to inform compensation decisions.
- Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Coordinate and deliver training sessions on various HR-related topics.
- Support career development initiatives and succession planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management or a related role.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
