HR Manager

We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Manager (Female) to lead and manage our human resources function. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in HR operations, employee management, recruitment, payroll, and compliance. Candidates with prior exposure to the shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding industry will be strongly preferred.

This role requires someone who can independently handle day-to-day HR activities while also contributing to process improvement and workforce planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end HR operations and employee lifecycle management
• Handle recruitment and talent acquisition across departments
• Oversee performance management, employee engagement activities, and quarterly performance reviews
• Track tasks and monitor departmental and individual performance
• Process and manage monthly payroll, attendance, and leave records
• Ensure HR compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws
• Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR documentation
• Oversee performance management and employee engagement activities
• Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters, and grievance handling
• Support management with HR reports and workforce planning
• Manage office administration and coordination functions
• Develop and implement HR policies and SOPs where required

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of HR operations and best practices
• Practical experience in recruitment and employee management
• Working knowledge of payroll and compliance processes
• Good command of documentation and reporting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Well-organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA in HR or related discipline preferred
• Experience in shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding companies is a strong advantage
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the HR function
