As HR Manager, you'll be responsible for all human resources functions including recruitment, performance management, policy development, employee relations, and compliance. You'll work closely with clinic leadership to build a high-performing, ethical, and supportive workplace culture.
This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can build HR systems from the ground up while managing day-to-day people operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Manage full recruitment cycle (job postings, screening, interviews, offers)
- Develop and execute onboarding program for new hires
- Build talent pipeline for clinical and administrative roles
- Conduct reference checks and background verification
Performance Management:
- Implement performance review system (30/60/90-day, quarterly, annual)
- Set clear KPIs and targets for all positions
- Conduct performance improvement plans when needed
- Track and analyze performance metrics
- Provide coaching and feedback to managers and staff
Policy & Compliance:
- Develop and maintain employee handbook and HR policies
- Ensure compliance with Pakistan labor laws and regulations
- Manage employment contracts, NDAs, and legal documentation
- Handle disciplinary processes and terminations professionally
- Maintain confidential employee files and records
Employee Relations:
- Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances
- Mediate workplace disputes
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover
- Foster positive workplace culture and staff engagement
- Manage sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism
Compensation & Benefits:
- Manage payroll coordination and salary administration
- Develop compensation structure and salary bands
- Administer benefits, leave policies, and allowances
- Conduct market salary research and benchmarking
HR Systems & Processes:
- Implement attendance and leave management systems
- Develop standard operating procedures for HR functions
- Create HR dashboards and reporting (turnover, attendance, performance)
- Digitize HR processes and record-keeping
- Build scalable systems for future growth
Strategic HR:
- Workforce planning and organizational design
- Develop retention strategies
- Create career development frameworks
- Support leadership with HR strategy
- Drive culture initiatives and employee engagement
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
- HR certification (SHRM, HRCI, or local equivalent) preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years progressive HR experience
- Experience building HR systems and processes from scratch
- Healthcare, clinic, or professional services industry experience strongly preferred
- Proven track record managing full employee lifecycle
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Pakistan labor laws and employment regulations
- Experience with performance management and disciplinary processes
- Excellent conflict resolution and mediation skills
- Proficient in MS Office and Google Suite
- Experience with HRIS systems or willingness to implement
- Strong written and verbal communication in English and Urdu
