Visiting Angels Senior Home Care is seeking a self-motivated HR Manager/Recruiter to join our dynamic team and come grow with us. This role will be responsible for the full life cycle recruiting/ hiring of Home Caregivers, HHAs (Home Health Aids), CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants). Primary Job Duties Include:

  • Posting and Updating Job Postings
  • Leading the recruitment of Caregivers, HHAs, CNAs, and DCWs & developing new recruitment sources.
  • Conducting the hiring process – Application review, phone Screening, Interviews, reference checks, background checks, Department of Health Paperwork compliance, Employee File Management, Onboarding, etc.
  • Setting up a new hire in our computer system, electronic file & hard copy file.
  • Auditing Employee files and ensuring compliance with Department of Health.
  • Initiating and implementing staff retention incentives
  • Leading and Conducting caregiver reviews
  • Fielding applicant, caregiver, and client calls and addressing as appropriate
  • Conducting bi-weekly meetings with caregivers in person to review their performance scorecard, client feedback, latest schedule availability, and providing any necessary coaching.
  • Managing all disciplinary actions with caregivers with proper documentation and applicable coaching.
  • Manage and complete all unemployment paperwork, follow ups, and attend all necessary unemployment hearings.
  • Assisting agency director in offering and managing employee benefits such as healthcare and 401K plans.
  • Providing feedback to Client Care Manager in assisting with caregiver placement with clients
  • Continuous Process Improvement Projects

Job Type: Full-time (8:30A – 5P) Monday thru Friday

Salary: Required experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in HR or related field
  • Experience preferred but not required in Non-medical Homecare and/or Recruiting: 2 years
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus

Required license or certification:

  • Reliable Vehicle, Driver's License, & Car Insurance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 per year
