Human Resources Officer — Management Consulting / Professional Services (UAE)

About The Opportunity

We operate in the management consulting and professional services sector, delivering HR, talent and organizational-development solutions for clients and in-house operations across the United Arab Emirates. We seek a hands-on Human Resources Officer to run day-to-day HR operations on-site, ensure compliance with UAE labour regulations, and support a high-performing workforce in a fast-paced consultancy environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment: draft job descriptions, screen CVs, coordinate interviews, and support offer negotiation and onboarding logistics.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data; implement timely updates for contracts, updates, and status changes.
  • Coordinate payroll input and benefits administration with payroll providers; ensure accurate deductions, leaves, and reimbursements.
  • Administer onboarding and offboarding processes—contracts, visas/work permits, induction, exit clearance and final settlements.
  • Provide employee-relations support: address inquiries, resolve routine HR issues, and escalate complex matters to senior HR when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and internal HR policies; prepare HR reports and support audits and regulatory submissions.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on HR operations experience in the UAE or GCC, including recruitment and payroll coordination.
  • Practical knowledge of UAE Labour Law and employment regulations.
  • Experience maintaining HRIS records and producing HR reports (Excel proficiency essential).
  • Strong administrative discipline: contract administration, visa/work-permit coordination and document control.
  • Fluent English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.

Preferred

  • Experience with HRIS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or Workday.
  • Previous exposure to consulting or professional services environments.
  • Familiarity with payroll platforms or payroll service coordination (ADP, local payroll providers).
