Job Purpose
Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, company policies, and maintaining confidentiality of payroll data.
Key Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end monthly payroll for all employees accurately and within deadlines
- Maintain and update employee records related to salary, benefits, deductions, and attendance
- Verify timesheets, leave records, overtime, and attendance data before payroll processing
- Calculate and process statutory deductions (e.g., pension/GPSSA, income tax where applicable, social insurance)
- Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and WPS (Wage Protection System) requirements
- Process end-of-service benefits (gratuity), final settlements, and leave encashments
- Handle payroll-related queries from employees and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Coordinate with Finance for salary disbursement and reconciliation of payroll accounts
- Prepare payroll reports, MIS reports, and cost summaries for management
- Manage employee benefits administration (medical insurance, allowances, reimbursements)
- Ensure accurate maintenance of payroll records for audit and compliance purposes
- Stay updated on changes in labour law, tax regulations, and statutory compliance requirements
- Liaise with banks for salary transfers and WPS file uploads
- Support internal and external audits related to payroll
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in the GCC/UAE
- Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law, WPS, and gratuity calculations
- Proficiency in payroll/HRMS software (e.g.,Microsoft Dynamics or SAP) and MS Excel
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
