The People Analytics & Systems Intern will support the HR Operations and Analytics team by analyzing workforce data and assisting with the configuration and optimization of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in people analytics, HR technology, and systems implementation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, curious, and eager to contribute to process improvement through data-driven insights and systems thinking.
Major responsibilities of the internship position are listed below. Other duties, assignments and specific projects may be assigned at the discretion of executive management.
. Assist in the collection, cleaning, and analysis of HR data to support reporting and decision-making.
. Help document business requirements and test cases related to HRIS configuration and process enhancements.
. Participate in data validation and system testing activities for new HRIS features or updates.
. Collaborate with HR team members to identify opportunities for process automation and improvement.
. Assist with the creation and maintenance of user documentation and training materials related to HR systems and reporting tools.
. Ensure data integrity by helping review and audit system entries and outputs.
. Stay informed on trends in people analytics and HR technology and share findings with the team.
. Support ad-hoc projects related to talent management, compliance, and workforce planning.
. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Working towards BS or BA in Business Management, Human Resources, Data Analytics or other related fields
. Junior level student (or above) currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
. Be extremely focused and driven on learning and growth
. Experience using Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
. Be able to handle confidential information
. Exceptional writing and editing skills
. Proven project management skills to manage day-to-day tasks.
. Understanding of and experience with data modeling and analysis.
. Comfortable with communicating with internal partners at all levels and as well as external partners.
. Prior experience in human resources or analytics is preferred but not required.
