HR Policy Advisor
Location: McClean, VA

Position Overview
At JMark, strong policies build strong workforces. We are seeking HR Policy Advisors across multiple discipline levels to provide expert guidance on human resources policy, ensuring programs and issuances align with mission objectives and federal regulations. This role requires exceptional writing, analytical, and advisory skills to influence workforce strategy and support senior leadership in shaping HR decisions.

Key Responsibilities
Policy Development & Review
  • Draft, review, and update HR policy documents to ensure compliance with federal regulations and organizational goals.
  • Certify that HR policy and program issuances are fully integrated with staff actions and support mission priorities.
Advisory & Strategic Support
  • Advise senior leadership on HR policy issues impacting the workforce.
  • Provide strategic recommendations that anticipate trends and guide workforce planning.
Integration & Mission Alignment
  • Collaborate with HR, legal, and operational teams to harmonize policies with organizational initiatives.
  • Monitor federal HR legislation and policy changes, delivering timely updates and recommendations.

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, or related field.
  • 0–15+ years of experience in HR policy, workforce compliance, or advisory roles (multi-discipline levels available).
  • Strong knowledge of federal HR regulations, policies, and workforce planning principles.
  • Exceptional writing, research, and communication skills.
Preferred
  • Experience supporting ODNI, IC, or DoD HR operations.
  • Familiarity with OPM policies and classification standards.
