The HR Recruiter is responsible for managing the full recruitment life cycle — from identifying hiring needs and sourcing qualified candidates to conducting interviews and onboarding. The role requires a proactive individual who can attract top talent, maintain strong candidate pipelines, and ensure a positive hiring experience aligned with the company’s culture and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand hiring requirements for various departments and collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements and candidate profiles.
- Source potential candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, social media, referrals, and internal databases.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial telephonic or video interviews to evaluate candidates’ fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and follow up on feedback.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process — job posting, shortlisting, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
- Maintain candidate records and recruitment dashboards using the company’s ATS or HRMS.
- Develop and maintain a strong talent pipeline for recurring and future roles.
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and internal hiring policies.
- Support employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing campaigns.
- Handle campus hiring, walk-in drives, and job fairs when required.
- Prepare recruitment reports and provide regular updates to management.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent sourcing and headhunting skills (LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, Indeed, etc.).
- Ability to handle multiple requirements simultaneously.
- Good negotiation and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with HRMS/ATS tools and Excel reporting.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Understanding of current hiring trends and market insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
- 1–5 years of experience in recruitment (corporate or consultancy environment).
Preferred Experience:
- Experience recruiting for roles in [specific industries, e.g., Finance, IT, Manufacturing, FMCG, etc.].
- Exposure to both technical and non-technical hiring.
- Experience in mass/bulk hiring and lateral recruitment.
Compensation:
Commensurate with experience and industry standards.
