- Coordinate with department heads to identify current and future manpower requirements.
- Prepare and update job descriptions for various roles across production, design, and support departments.
- Source suitable candidates through job portals, social media, recruitment agencies, references, and campus placements.
- Screen, interview, and shortlist candidates based on technical and behavioral competencies.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate between candidates and department heads.
- Conduct reference checks and assist in finalizing offers and appointment letters.
- Manage the onboarding and induction process for new employees.
- Maintain recruitment databases, reports, and manpower status trackers.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for key technical roles (fabricators, welders, fitters, carpenters, painters, etc.).
- Support HR functions such as attendance, payroll coordination, and employee engagement when required.
- Ensure recruitment activities comply with company standards and labor regulations.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of recruitment methods and HR processes.
- Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand technical job requirements in furniture and metal manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience in blue-collar and white-collar recruitment.
- Proficiency in MS Office, HR software, and job portals (Naukri, Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Human Resources / Management.
- 2–5 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in the furniture, metal, or manufacturing industry.
- Experience in bulk and technical hiring will be an advantage.
