HR Recruiter (Retail Firm)

Job Summary:

The HR Recruiter is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for retail operations, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates. The role focuses on hiring store staff, warehouse employees, supervisors, cashiers, and other retail-related positions while ensuring timely fulfillment of manpower requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complete recruitment cycle for retail and operational positions.
  • Source candidates through job portals, social media, walk-ins, employee referrals, and recruitment agencies.
  • Screen resumes and shortlist candidates according to job requirements.
  • Conduct initial interviews and coordinate final interviews with department heads.
  • Ensure timely hiring for stores, warehouses, and head office positions.
  • Maintain recruitment trackers, interview records, and employee databases.
  • Coordinate onboarding and joining formalities for new employees.
  • Prepare offer letters, employment documents, and employee files.
  • Communicate with branch/store managers regarding staffing requirements and recruitment updates.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and HR procedures during hiring.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
  • Assist in employer branding and recruitment campaigns.
  • Support other HR operations and administrative tasks when required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of recruitment experience, preferably in retail industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle bulk hiring and multiple vacancies simultaneously.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and recruitment platforms.
  • Strong coordination and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet hiring deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in retail or FMCG recruitment.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and HR practices.
  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs45,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month
