Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position requires authorization to work in the U.S., as well as strong communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of human capital management practices
Responsibilities
- Oversee talent acquisition processes, including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Manage employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a collaborative work environment.
- Administer benefits programs and ensure compliance with FMLA and other relevant labor laws.
- Conduct employee evaluations and performance management initiatives to support workforce development.
- Facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Implement change management strategies to support organizational goals and workforce management.
- Utilize HRIS systems such as Workday, ADP, or Oracle HCM for data entry, payroll processing, and record keeping.
- Support affirmative action planning and succession planning efforts to ensure a diverse and capable workforce.
- Collaborate with management on strategic planning initiatives related to organization design and talent management.
- Maintain accurate data collection processes for reporting purposes and compliance with OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in human resources management or related administrative roles (within 3 years).
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience with payroll software or systems.
- Strong knowledge of employment and labor law, including OSHA regulations and workers' compensation policies.
- Familiarity with HR sourcing techniques, ATS systems such as iCIMS or Lever, and project management methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in using HR software such as Paychex, Dayforce, Ceridian, or UltiPro for various HR functions.
- Experience in social media management for employer branding purposes is a plus.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and reporting tasks.
- Fluent in both Korean and English (speaking and writing).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $70,000.00 per year
