Cactus Life Sciences is a non-traditional, fully integrated medical communication agency specializing in technology-enabled innovation and stakeholder personalization, where we uniquely combine science, technology, and strategic communications. Following strong recent growth, we are strengthening our HR team to support continued development and expansion.
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager on contractual basis to lead the end-to-end implementation of Darwin box Human resources Management System (HRMS) across the organization. This is a 12-month contract role wherein you will be responsible for implementing and deploying and optimizing all Darwin box modules while building dashboards, managing data migration from legacy systems, and ensuring seamless adoption across all HR functions.
Cactus Life Sciences is a remote-first organization, and we embrace an "accelerate from anywhere culture". You may be required to travel based on business requirements or for company/team events.
Job responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end implementation of Darwin box HRMIS across all modules (Core HR, Recruitment, Performance Management, Learning & Development, Time & Attendance, Payroll)

Configure system settings, workflows, approval hierarchies, and automation rules for multi-country operations with compliance requirements

Own data migration strategy from existing systems and ensure data validation, cleansing, and quality assurance

Design and build custom dashboards, reports, and analytics frameworks to support HR decision-making

Partner with HRMIS POC and functional HR leaders (TA, HRBP, HR Operations) to gather requirements and facilitate workshops

Lead change management activities to drive user adoption while functional POCs manage training within their teams

Own project timelines, deliverables, risk mitigation, and create comprehensive documentation

Deliver a fully functional system with effective process workflows and high user adoption by end of 12-month contract

Qualifications and prerequisites:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in HRMIS implementation, with at least 2 full-cycle implementations

Prior experience with Darwin box implementation strongly preferred; experience with other cloud-based HRMIS platforms (Workday, SuccessFactors, BambooHR, etc.) is acceptable

Strong hands-on technical skills in HRMIS system configuration, customization, and administration

Advanced proficiency in data management, data migration, and ETL processes

Expertise in building dashboards, reports, and analytics using HRIS reporting tools

Strong understanding of HR processes across multiple functions (recruitment, performance management, learning, payroll, etc.)

Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or other data analysis tools for data validation and reporting

Proven ability to manage complex HRMIS implementation projects independently with minimal supervision

Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to collaborate effectively with HR leadership, functional teams, and cross-functional partners

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot system issues efficiently

Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences

Experience with multi-country HRMIS implementations.

Experience with system integrations (API, middleware) between HRIS and other business systems
Desirable requirements

Familiarity with Agile or other project management methodologies

Experience with multi-country HRMS implementations; experience in India, US, UK, Switzerland, and/or Japan

Background in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical communications industry

Knowledge of international HR compliance requirements and country-specific labor laws
