HR/Payroll Assistant

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for entry level position to grow and to gain experience in Payroll and Human Resources field. We are seeking someone to assist the HR department in general daily duties. The HR department is responsible for supporting the automotive dealership and our company is continuing to grow!

Duties will include:

• filing and maintaining employee records
• assisting with hiring/onboarding employees
• assisting employees with logins
• assisting with time cards
• assisting with payroll processing
• assist with running daily reports
• attendance tracking
• garnishment
• and other tasks to support the HR department as needed
• completing EDD forms disability and unemployment
• employment verifications
• processing, reconciling and paying benefit invoices

Looking for someone who is eager to help, intuitive, takes direction well and is very organized. Someone who can ask productive questions and is a quick learner. Accuracy and attention to detail are critical in this role.

Automotive experience is a huge plus!

Preferred experience includes

Onboarding, Processing E-Verify, DE 34, attendance tracking, reviewing time cards, and other HR functions as needed.
