Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Engineer to ensure compliance with safety regulations and to promote a strong safety culture across our multi-million dollar EPC and engineering projects. The HSE Engineer will work closely with project teams to develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental programs. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nagercoil.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local and international standards.
· Conduct risk assessments, hazard identifications, and safety audits for project sites.
· Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental and occupational health regulations.
· Provide HSE training and awareness sessions to employees and contractors.
· Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
· Coordinate with project teams to integrate HSE considerations into project planning and execution.
· Maintain accurate HSE documentation and records for audits and reporting.
· Liaise with regulatory authorities and external agencies for compliance and inspections.
· Promote a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement in HSE performance.
· Support emergency response planning and drills.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
· 3–8 years of experience as an HSE Engineer, preferably in EPC or oil & gas projects.
· Knowledge of local and international HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
· Certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent is highly preferred.
· Experience in conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
· Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to train and motivate teams to adhere to safety practices.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
