HSE Officer

Position: HSE Officer

Location: JBR

Experience: Minimum 4–5 years in UAE

Certifications Required: NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, ISO 45001, or equivalent Employment Type: Full Time

Languages: English (Arabic is a plus)

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with UAE safety regulations and company policies

• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits

• Deliver safety training and toolbox talks

• Investigate incidents and prepare reports

• Liaise with government authorities (e.g., Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense)

• Proficiency in preparing and managing HSE documentation (e.g., safety plans, registers, permits to work).

• Ability to respond effectively to emergencies and coordinate emergency response procedures.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for identifying hazards and developing corrective actions.

• Competency in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and presentation.

Requirements:

• Proven HSE experience in UAE (construction, oil & gas, etc.)

• Valid certifications (NEBOSH, OSHA, etc.)

• Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and safety standards

• Excellent communication and reporting skills
