HSE Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSE Officer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in risk assessment, emergency response, legal regulations, and safety management systems. The HSE Officer will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of health, safety, and environmental compliance within our organization, ensuring adherence to all relevant policies and regulations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Conduct lifting assessments and ensure safe lifting practices are followed.

2. Perform comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate control measures.

3. Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures.

4. Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with HSE standards and identify areas for improvement.

5. Provide HSE training to employees and contractors, ensuring they are aware of safety procedures and protocols.

6. Conduct safety inspections to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.

7. Coordinate HSE committee meetings and actively participate in discussions.

8. Facilitate toolbox talks to promote HSE awareness among employees.

9. Conduct safety tours to monitor workplace conditions and address any safety concerns.

10. Develop and update HSE policies, plans, and management systems as required.

Certifications Required:

1. OSHAD (Occupational Safety and Health Administration Department) certification.

2. NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) certification.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Experience as an HSE Officer or similar role, with a minimum of 4 years in the field.

- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Proficient in MS Office applications.

- Immediate availability and residency in Abu Dhabi.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
