Job description:

Job Title: HSE Officer – Fit-out Projects

To ensure that all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and regulations are effectively implemented and maintained during civil and fit-out project activities, ensuring compliance with local authorities and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor HSE plans, policies, and procedures in line with company and regulatory requirements.

Conduct daily site inspections to ensure safe work practices and compliance with Trakhees regulations.

Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.

Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions for site personnel.

Prepare and maintain HSE documentation, including risk assessments, incident reports, and inspection logs.

Coordinate with project teams to ensure all fit-out and civil activities meet safety standards.

Report unsafe conditions and assist in accident/incident investigations.

Liaise with Trakhees and other relevant authorities for HSE approvals and inspections.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Trakhees Approval with a valid SARS Card (mandatory).

NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (mandatory).

Minimum 2 years of experience in HSE roles within Civil or Fit-out projects.

Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and Trakhees standards.

Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Ability to work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams on-site.

Preferred Skills:

Certification in First Aid and Fire Safety.

Experience in preparing and conducting safety training sessions.

Proficiency in MS Office and HSE reporting systems.
