HSE Officer

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain safety procedures in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage safety documentation, reports, and records accurately.
  • Coordinate with ministries and authorities to obtain necessary safety approvals and permits.
  • Conduct safety training and awareness programs for staff.
  • Perform safety inspections and risk assessments in chemicals, warehouse, manufacturing, and real estate sites.
  • Monitor compliance and enforce safety standards across all operations.
  • Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as a Safety Officer in chemicals, warehouse, manufacturing, and construction environments.
  • Strong knowledge of safety documentation, protocols, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with obtaining and maintaining ministry safety approvals.
  • Relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with local safety laws and standards.
  • Must be locally available and able to start immediately.
  • Valid driver’s license is a must.
  • Valid safety-related certificates.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From QAR1.00 per month
