S. Zia-Ul-Haq & Sons is looking for an HSE Officer!

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct site visits to remote project locations to monitor HSE compliance.

Perform risk assessments, safety inspections at site.

Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and local regulations.

Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

Prepare and maintain HSE reports, incident reports, and documentation.

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; submit findings and recommendations.

Conduct HSE training sessions, toolbox talks, and safety inductions for site staff.

Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all sites.

Coordinate with site teams to implement safety procedures and emergency response plans.

Monitor waste management and environmental protection practices.

Support management in developing and improving HSE policies.

Required Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science (mandatory).
  • NEBOSH certification (IGC or equivalent) – mandatory.
  • IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent certification – mandatory.
  • Additional certifications such as:
  • First Aid Certification
  • Fire Safety Training
  • Electrical Safety Awareness
  • Ground Disturbance / Excavation Safety
  • PPE Safety & Awareness
  • Any other relevant HSE certifications will be an added advantage.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 4–5 years of experience in HSE, preferably in construction, catering camps, or industrial sites.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE standards and regulations.
  • Certification such as NEBOSH / IOSH will be preferred.
  • Ability to travel frequently to remote/project sites.
  • Experience in construction, oil & gas, industrial, or manufacturing environments will be preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE laws, standards, and risk management practices.
  • Ability to engage diverse workforce and conduct interactive training sessions.
  • Strong reporting, documentation, and record-keeping skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs75,000.00 per month
