HSE Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive HSE Officer to join our team. This is a site-based role requiring a professional who is committed to maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance within a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Inspections: Conduct regular site walkthroughs to identify potential hazards and ensure all safety protocols are being followed.
• Risk Management: Develop and implement Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Risk Assessments for specific MEP and construction tasks.
• Safety Training: Lead toolbox talks and safety inductions for site personnel and subcontractors.
• Incident Investigation: Monitor, report, and investigate all site accidents or near-misses, providing actionable recommendations to prevent recurrence.
• Compliance: Ensure all site operations align with local UAE safety regulations and international standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical) is highly preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience as an HSE Officer, specifically within the Construction or MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) sectors.
• Certification: Valid safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH IGC, IOSH) are required.
• Flexibility: As this is a site-based role, the candidate must be physically fit and flexible to handle the demands of active project environments.
• Communication: Strong command of English; the ability to communicate safety requirements clearly to a diverse workforce is essential.
• Preferably with own freelance visa. NOC is required for freelancers.
