HSE Officer

Job Title: QHSE Officer

Job Purpose:
To ensure safe daily operations across steel fabrication, manufacturing, and coating facilities by monitoring shopfloor activities and supporting HSE compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily safety inspections and report issues
• Assist in risk assessments and job safety analysis
• Investigate incidents and support root cause analysis
• Ensure compliance with HSE procedures and certifications
• Support audits and maintain HSE records
• Monitor waste handling and environmental controls
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety inductions
• Enforce PPE usage and safe work practices
• Identify and challenge unsafe practices
• Close safety action points

Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong shopfloor presence
• Ability to identify and act on unsafe conditions
• Effective communication with workers
• Attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple sites

Experience & Education:

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering
• 1–2 years UAE experience in manufacturing/industrial environment
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent
