Job Summary:

  • Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of workplace operations to identify hazards and implement corrective measures.
  • Monitor and report on compliance with local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Provide training and safety awareness programs to employees at all levels.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare and maintain safety documentation, reports, and records in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to identify risks and improve safety culture.
  • Ensure personal protective equipment (PPE) usage and safety measures are adhered to at all times.
  • Conduct safety drills and simulations to assess emergency preparedness.
  • Assist in the preparation of emergency response plans and procedures.
  • Ensure the safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Applying Work Permit
  • Assist with scheduling, attendance tracking, and general office duties.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal departments.
  • Support management with daily administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate degree (preferably in Health, Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field).
  • Certifications: NEBOSH certification (or equivalent Safety Course).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar HSE role in the UAE.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of UAE safety regulations and international safety standards.
  • Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Language: Proficiency in English
