Job Description


The HSE & Physical Security Manager will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment by developing, implementing, and monitoring safety policies.


1.HSE

  • Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate risks.
  • Policy Development: Create, review, and update health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with local regulations and industry standards.
  • .Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards and maintain records of safety inspections and audits.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans, conduct drills, and coordinate with emergency services as needed.
  • Communication: Act as a liaison between management, employees, and regulatory agencies regarding health and safety matters.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on health and safety performance, incidents, and compliance to management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve health and safety programs.
  • Wellness Programs: Promote employee wellness initiatives and programs to enhance overall workplace health.


B. Physical security

  • Security Strategy Development: Create and implement comprehensive security strategies and policies to protect the organization’s people, property, and information.
  • Incident Management: Oversee the response to security incidents, including investigations, reporting, and coordination with law enforcement if necessary
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to security operations.
  • Surveillance and Monitoring: Implement and manage surveillance systems and security technologies to monitor premises and detect suspicious activities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including HR, facilities management, and IT, to ensure a holistic approach to security.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans and conduct regular drills to ensure readiness for various scenarios.
  • Budget Management: Manage the security budget, allocating resources effectively while ensuring cost-efficiency in security operations.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present reports on security operations, incidents, and improvements to senior management.


Qualifications :

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant or equivalent field
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in EHS, safety management systems, Physical Security tools, and certifications with at least 5 years in a large back-office operation role and in corporate offices.
  • Certifications: NEBOSH & OSHA

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily office-based with occasional travel required for meetings, conferences, and training sessions.
