Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Specialist to join our dynamic team. The Human Resources Specialist will play a pivotal role in talent acquisition, employee orientation, and performance management while contributing to the overall strategic planning of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with FMLA and workers' compensation regulations.
- Facilitate employee orientation sessions to ensure smooth integration into the company culture.
- Conduct employee evaluations and performance management processes to foster professional development.
- Support change management initiatives and assist in organization design efforts.
- Maintain accurate HRIS data entry and manage workforce analytics for strategic planning purposes.
- Develop and implement training and development programs tailored to employee needs.
- Oversee affirmative action planning and succession planning efforts within the organization.
- Handle employee relations issues, providing conflict management support as necessary.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure effective project management related to HR initiatives.
- Utilize ATS systems such as Lever, Workday, or iCIMS for efficient recruitment processes.
- Manage social media platforms for employer branding and recruitment marketing efforts.
Experience
- Proven experience in human resources management with a focus on talent management, employee relations, and benefits administration.
- Familiarity with employment laws including OSHA regulations, FMLA policies, and labor law compliance is essential.
- Proficiency in HR software such as Oracle HCM, Paychex, Dayforce, UltiPro, or Ceridian is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with data collection and analysis to support strategic decision-making processes within HR functions.
