About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Director to lead all aspects of our human resources function. This role is responsible for building strong HR practices, ensuring compliance, supporting leadership, and fostering a positive, people-centered workplace culture.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR leader who enjoys partnering with managers, navigating employee relations with professionalism, and helping organizations grow through effective people strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for all HR functions

• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and management teams

• Oversee employee relations, performance management, and investigations

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws

• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives

• Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures

• Oversee compensation, benefits, and HR-related payroll processes

• Support training, leadership development, and organizational growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

• Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibility

• Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices

• Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters with discretion

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills

Preferred:

• HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR)

• Experience in healthcare, home care, or multi-site environments

• Experience supporting both exempt and non-exempt employees
