Hyspeco is seeking a full-time, exempt Human Resource Generalist to support the daily functions of the Human Resources department, including recruiting and hiring, pay/benefits/leave administration, and consistent policy and compliance practices.

What you’ll do
- Recruit, interview, and help hire qualified candidates in partnership with hiring managers.
- Support background checks and employment eligibility verifications.
- Coordinate new-hire orientation and support employee recognition programs.
- Administer and execute HR programs (compensation, benefits, leave, performance/talent management, and training and development).
- Track and document compliance with required training, continuing education, and certifications (e.g., safety and anti-harassment).
- Respond to employment-related questions and route complex/sensitive matters to appropriate HR leadership.
- Help maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; support policy reviews and updates.
- Stay current on HR best practices, regulatory changes, and new HR technologies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
- 1+ year of HR experience (preferred).
- HR certification (preferred), such as SHRM-CP, SCP or PHR, SPHR.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, time management, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn HRIS/talent management systems.

- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Ability to access and navigate departments within the organization’s facilities.

Pay
We offer a compelling total rewards package that includes a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits to support your total wellbeing. The base pay range for this position is $50,000 to $65,000 USD Annually. The specific pay offered will depend on qualifications, experience, education and skill set. The compensation offered may also include a quarterly base bonus.
