Human Resource Specialist

As Human Resource Specialist your primary responsibility will be day-to-day HR operations. This role is essential in managing various HR functions including payroll submission, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Assist managers in hiring as neeeded.
• Oversee onboarding of newly hired employees on HR and internal policies.
• Administer employee benefits programs and assist with benefits administration.
• Ensure compliance with FMLA, and employment & labor laws.
• Support performance management processes, including employee evaluations.
• Maintain accurate employee records.
• Assist in change managment efforts to enhance organizational effectiveness.
• Prepare and submit bi-weekly payroll.
• Foster positive employee relations by addressing concerns and facilitating conflict management.
• Work with CEO and COO on policy updates and HR strategy.

Skills

• Knowledge of employment & labor law, including FMLA.
• Skilled in performance management techniques and employee evaluation processes.
• Knowledge of benefits administration practices and workers' compensation policies.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact at all organizational levels.
• Strong administrative experience with attention to detail in data collection and reporting.
• Ability to strategically plan organization design initiatives that align with business goals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week
