Job Summary:

The HR Administrator will play a critical role in keeping our Human Resources operations organized, efficient, and compliant. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to build their skills across multiple areas of HR.

From maintaining accurate employee records and supporting compliance processes to assisting with recruitment coordination and candidate communication, this role offers the chance to contribute to the success of ArborWorks while gaining valuable, hands-on HR experience.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and confidential HR files, records, and documentation.
  • Collect, verify, and track employee and candidate documents for compliance and onboarding.
  • Serve as a communication bridge for Spanish-speaking employees and candidates, providing translation and support as needed.
  • Assist with recruitment coordination, including scheduling, interview communication, and candidate follow-up outside of the ATS system.
  • Monitor and track candidate progress, addressing outstanding items promptly and updating hiring managers as needed.
  • Generate and maintain HR-related reports and tracking tools using Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.
  • Support HRIS data entry and updates (ADP or comparable system preferred).
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling, correspondence, and special projects.
  • Assist in rolling out HR programs, initiatives, and compliance activities.
  • Other duties and projects assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
  • 2–3 years of HR administrative or related experience.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

Education and Experience:

  • Experience with ADP or another HRIS platform.
  • Prior exposure to recruitment coordination or talent acquisition support.
  • Knowledge of HR compliance requirements and onboarding processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Experience working in a high-volume, fast-changing environment.

Environment: Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment with occasional visits to the field, frequent interruptions and public contact.
