Position Overview
The HR Assistant is an entry-level opportunity for individuals eager to begin a career in Human Resources. You’ll receive training and hands-on experience in recruiting, onboarding, HR systems, and compliance. Working closely with senior HR staff, you’ll support daily operations while building the skills needed for future growth into HR Representative or HR Specialist roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with job postings, interview scheduling, and onboarding paperwork.
• Help prepare and coordinate new hire orientations.
• Maintain applicant and employee data in our HRIS system.
• Support outreach efforts, including job fairs and social media updates.
• Provide administrative support to the HR team and positive customer service to employees and applicants.
• Learn about HR compliance, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), and employment law basics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with computers, social media, and data entry.
• Valid Minnesota Driver’s License with an acceptable record.
