Human Resources Assistant

HR Assistant

Location: Onsite in Tigard, Oregon

Duration: 2–3 month contract

Pay Rate: $26–$30 per hour

Hours: M-F, Full-Time


About the Role

LHH Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented HR Assistant to provide hands-on support to our client's Human Resources and Recruitment team during a short-term contract. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering accurate, timely HR services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day HR operations, including employee onboarding and offboarding.
  • Maintain and update personnel records and HR databases to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support recruitment activities by scheduling interviews and coordinating candidate communications.
  • Prepare HR documents such as offer letters, new hire packets, and compliance forms.
  • Help monitor adherence to company policies and employment laws.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide general HR support as needed.


Qualifications

  • Previous experience in HR or administrative support preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
