Position Summary:

The Human Resources Assistant supports daily operations of the Human Resources department, including recruitment support, onboarding coordination, employee records management, and HR administrative functions.

Responsibilities of the Human Resources Assistant include:

Draft job descriptions and post openings per staffing requests.

Utilize HRIS Recruiting tools to screen, track and communicate efficiently and effectively with applicants.

Conduct phone screens and assist with scheduling interviews.

Perform in person interviews as needed.

Conduct background checks and reference checks.
-
Maintain employee files and department documentation.
-
Support the onboarding process and assist with orientation as needed.
-
Assist with distributing department communications as well as employee engagement initiatives.

Work closely with the Programs Department to stay aware of recruitment needs.
