Primary Purpose:
The Human Resources Assistant provides essential support to the Employee Relations Manager and plays a key role in daily HR operations. This role serves as a primary point of contact for hourly and salaried employees, staffing agencies, and candidates—offering guidance, information, and exceptional customer service. The position supports a wide range of administrative and HR functions to ensure smooth, efficient operations across the complex.
Schedule:

Split shift: 10:00 AM–6:30 PM.

Some Saturday work based on plant operations.

Occasional overtime as needed.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:

Deliver outstanding customer service and accurate information to internal and external customers.

Perform data entry and maintain employee records in Oracle HCM, UKG, and Oracle 12c.

Support daily HR administration, including documentation, recordkeeping, and employee inquiries.

Assist the Employee Relations Manager with routine tasks, follow‑ups, and special projects.
Serve as a reliable, approachable resource for employees, staffing partners, and candidates throughout the day.
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.

Clerical or administrative experience required.

Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent customer service abilities and a professional, welcoming demeanor.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively.

Familiarity with databases and common HR systems.
