The Human Resources (HR) and Title IX and Civil Rights Compliance teams at the University of New England are dedicated to providing various support systems and development opportunities designed to retain a talented workforce and foster a productive environment. We are a cohesive team, working together to support one another on a day-to-day basis.
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will work closely with leadership and supervisors across the University to cultivate positive partnerships. The HRBP will assume various responsibilities to deliver strategic, value-added services that align the goals of management and employees with the university’s objectives.
The HRBP will coach leaders to determine the best solutions regarding policy interpretation, talent acquisition, training, compliance, employee engagement, performance issues, workforce planning, change management, and conflict resolution to ensure alignment and consistency across the university. The HRBP will collaborate with other HR team members, such as Operations, Benefits, Training Development, Employee Relations, and Talent Acquisition, to ensure a unified approach to HR initiatives and best practices.
After successfully completing the initial onboarding period, the HRBP will be offered hybrid flexible work options (must be able to attend meetings and regularly scheduled days on the Biddeford/Portland campus).
