The Human Resources Business Partner will provide high-level expertise, advice, and counsel in areas of Human Resources including leadership coaching, employee engagement, employee relations, compensation, benefits, employment law, unemployment, and performance management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

Leads HR initiatives such as coaching managers on engagement, performance management and employee development.

Assist in the development of policies and procedures including preparing and maintaining employee handbook.

Conduct investigations, document and recommend appropriate actions.
- Administer benefit policies and procedures, and related documents as requested.

Assist in the review and testing of HRIS functionality and upgrades and provide support for users.

Responsible for HR analytics, including standardizing reporting for internal customer needs.

Process unemployment claims and represent the company at administrative hearings.

Conduct employee exit interviews and make recommendations for improvements.

Identify, recommend and implement improvements for areas of responsibility.

Participate in the development of department goals, objectives and systems.

Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and five years of HR Generalist or Business Partner experience, or equivalent education and/or experience. PHR or SPHR certification is a plus.

Manufacturing HR experience preferred.
