Human Resources Business Partner

The Human Resources Business Partner will provide high-level expertise, advice, and counsel in areas of Human Resources including leadership coaching, employee engagement, employee relations, compensation, benefits, employment law, unemployment, and performance management.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Demonstrate a tenacious and disciplined service excellence approach using the “6+1” model (quality, professional courtesy, can-do attitude, responsiveness, convenience and aggressive follow-up).
  • Leads HR initiatives such as coaching managers on engagement, performance management and employee development.
  • Assist in the development of policies and procedures including preparing and maintaining employee handbook.
  • Conduct investigations, document and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Administer benefit policies and procedures, and related documents as requested.
  • Assist in the review and testing of HRIS functionality and upgrades and provide support for users.
  • Responsible for HR analytics, including standardizing reporting for internal customer needs.
  • Process unemployment claims and represent the company at administrative hearings.
  • Conduct employee exit interviews and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Identify, recommend and implement improvements for areas of responsibility.
  • Participate in the development of department goals, objectives and systems.
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and five years of HR Generalist or Business Partner experience, or equivalent education and/or experience. PHR or SPHR certification is a plus.
  • Manufacturing HR experience preferred.
