Human Resources Business Partner

This role is FULLY REMOTE with a home base of Metro Detroit, Michigan. Team members are expected to meet onsite, locally, 1-2 times per month; potential candidates can be based out of Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and other midwestern locations based in the Eastern Time Zone .


What You Will Be Doing

  • Support and execute core HR functions, including onboarding, performance management, compensation processes, and employee relations initiatives
  • Partner with managers to provide guidance on employee relations, performance issues, and HR best practices
  • Assist with compensation processes such as salary reviews, merit increases, and bonus programs
  • Coordinate training and development initiatives, onboarding/offboarding, and employee engagement programs
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, HR policies, and regulatory requirements while supporting HR projects and initiatives


What We Need From You

To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following experience and skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR or Business Administration; equivalent professional experience is also acceptable
  • 4+ years of experience in a strategic HR role with exposure to employee relations and HR processes
  • Demonstrated success supporting management teams in navigating performance management and training processes
  • Experience developing internal talent development programs from concept through execution
  • Experience developing external talent acquisition/recruiting programs from concept through execution
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills

  • Background supporting manufacturing environments/facilities
  • Demonstrated success working within a remote environment
