People Operations / HR Business Partner – Contract to Hire (Hybrid, DT Chicago)

Are you passionate about building high-impact people operations and HR business partnerships in a growing healthcare environment? Robert Half is seeking a dynamic professional for a contract-to-hire position in downtown Chicago with a rapidly expanding healthcare company.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee all areas of people operations, with potential responsibility for some compensation functions.
• Build and strengthen partnerships between the business and a network of 1,000 therapists who deliver services through the company.
• Serve as a player-coach: take an active HR Business Partner (HRBP) role while helping shape and scale the HRBP function with a collaborative team.
• Join a network of about a dozen clinics, each with 80–100 therapists and a dedicated HRBP.
• Drive results, support team growth, and establish a scalable, effective HR strategy.
• Grow into a leadership role, with future opportunities to manage and direct other HRBPs.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in people operations and/or HR business partnership, ideally in healthcare or a clinical setting.
• Collaborative, hands-on approach and desire to build HR partnerships from the ground up.
• Strong communication, organizational, and team-building skills.
• Ambition to take on both hands-on work and future leadership responsibilities.

The salary range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00 hr. Benefits available to contract professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
