Human Resources Business Partner

Role Overview

Our project is entering a new chapter of disciplined, profitable growth, expanding our category focus, deepening customer relevance, and building a world-class commercial engine across the region. To power this next phase, we are seeking an HR Specialist to support our Egypt-based teams. This role focuses on delivering core HR processes, ensuring compliance, and enhancing employee experience, while providing operational support to HR leadership and business managers.

The ideal candidate brings solid HR generalist experience within fast-paced, technology-driven or ecommerce environments, with strong knowledge of Egyptian labor law and hands-on expertise across the employee lifecycle. This person should be detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about supporting people and processes in a high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Operations & Compliance

  • Administer HR processes including contracts, benefits, and employee records.
  • Ensure compliance with Egyptian labor law in all HR practices.
  • Support disciplinary and grievance procedures with fairness and confidentiality.

2. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Coordinate with Talent Acquisition to manage job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.
  • Support workforce planning activities by maintaining accurate headcount data.
  • Facilitate onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires.

3. Performance & Development Support

  • Assist in performance management cycles (goal-setting, reviews, calibrations).
  • Track training and development initiatives, ensuring completion and reporting.
  • Provide managers with HR data to identify performance or capability gaps.

4. Employee Engagement & Experience

  • Support employee engagement surveys and initiatives.
  • Act as a point of contact for employees on HR-related queries.
  • Help organize local HR events and activities that promote inclusion and culture.

5. HR Data & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate HRIS and employee records.
  • Prepare HR reports and analytics for leadership decision-making.
  • Monitor attendance, leave, and other workforce metrics.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of HR generalist or specialist experience, ideally in ecommerce or fast-paced consumer businesses.
  • Strong knowledge of Egyptian labor law and HR compliance requirements.
  • Hands-on experience across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR operations.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and data reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
