The Human Resource Business Partner will oversee human resources operations for the Design Studio and Consultant division within the construction sector. This role emphasizes HR policy implementation, compliance, employee relations, and performance management for professional and technical staff. The Human Resource Business Partner will act as a strategic partner to leadership by ensuring HR practices align with the Design Studio and Consultant business objectives while maintaining a positive and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Operations & Policy Management

Manage HR processes across Design Studio and Consultant teams (engineers, project managers, design staff, and corporate functions).

Ensure smooth HR administration including contracts, onboarding documentation, payroll coordination, and employee records.

Implement and maintain HR policies specific to consultancy operations.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement

Act as the primary contact for employee grievances, performance issues, and conflict resolution.

Foster a professional work culture that supports collaboration across projects and consultancy teams.

Develop and implement employee engagement and welfare initiatives tailored to technical/professional staff.
3. Compliance & Governance

Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and consultancy regulatory requirements.

Coordinate with PRO/government relations for visas, permits, and compliance reporting.

Maintain accurate HR documentation for audits and certifications.
4. Performance Management & Talent Support

Drive performance management processes in line with consultancy KPIs and project goals.

Support leadership in identifying high-potential employees for succession planning.

Ensure transparent and consistent appraisal processes across the division.
5. HR Strategy & Reporting

Partner with management to align HR strategy with consultancy business goals.

Provide HR insights and reporting on headcount, turnover, compliance, and employee satisfaction.

Recommend improvements to HR systems and processes for efficiency in a consultancy-driven environment.
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s preferred.

Min 12 years of HR experience with at least 5 years in the
Construction Design Studio and Consultant sector
.

Strong knowledge of HR practices for professional/technical staff.

Proven expertise in compliance, employee relations, and HR policy development.

Familiarity with UAE (or relevant country) labor law and consultancy industry requirements.

HR certifications (CIPD, SHRM, CHRM) are an added advantage.
